Smoked Tomato Sauce


Ingredients

8 each v/r tomato
1 each garlic bulbs
1 each red bell pepper
3 each onion -- 1/2
2 cans green chilis -- drained
2 tablespoons lime juice -- fresh
1 tablespoon olive oil -- fresh
2 tablespoons oregano -- chopped
2 tablespoons Italian parsley -- chopped
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
tt salt

1) Smoke all vegetables over mesquite grill for 30 minutes.

2) Remove from grill and peel the skins from the vegetable.

3) Place vegetables, 2 cloves of garlic and the rest of the ingredients in
robot coupe and puree till smooth.

4) Place puree over medium heat and let simmer for 15 minutes.
