Sour Dough Starter


Ingredients

1 pound Water
1 1/2 pounds Organic Whole Wheat

KNEAD DOUGH, BURY THIS DOUGH IN WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR AND HOLD IN A PLASTIC
BUCKET AT ROOM TEMP. ( THIS SURROUNDS THE DOUGH WITH AN ATMOSPHERE LOADED
WITH MORE NATURAL YEAST. )

TO FEED STARTER: REMOVE STARTER(SEED) FROM FLOUR, TRIM OFF THE OUTSIDE
CRUST. MIX THE STARTER(SEED) WITH 8 OZ. OF WATER, BREAKING THE DOUGH UP
WITH YOUR HANDS.

ADD 12 OZ. OF FLOUR AND KNEAD BACK INTO LOOSE DOUGH, BURY AGAIN IN THE
FLOUR.

REPEAT THIS PROCESS FOR 6 MORE DAYS, YOUR STARTER (SEED) WILL THEN BE
READY TO USE.
