English Mustard Sauce

Amount              Ingredient
3 tablespoons     Armagnac
4 1/2 cups           mayonnaise
9 tablespoons    dry mustard
3 tablespoons    dill -- chopped
6 tablespoons    sugar
1 1/2 cups          white wine or champagne vinegar
tt                          salt and white pepper

Method

  1. Dissolve mustard with a little water and Armagnac.
  2. Add all other ingredients, Adjust seasoning.
